CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS
Covenant Community Church treated parents of 75 teens to a pancake breakfast in December, then provided three gifts apiece for each teenager, “wrapping” up with gift-wrapping! Months of planning and purchasing of gifts goes into this annual event. Community United Methodist Church opened its Fellowship Hall for a week in December for The Sharing Center to stage a Christmas gift giveaway for parents of children from babies to age 17. Gifts were donated by members of congregations, businesses, and individuals in our community. CUMC has hosted the event for several years.
