Health Links for a Healthier Seminole

By working to keep uninsured and under-insured patients out of emergency rooms, The Christian Sharing Center helps to lower costs of medical care for our whole community.

Through its HealthLink office, The Sharing Center works closely with healthcare providers and collaborates with other help agencies and various community services to help children and adults receive essential medical care or find a medical “home.”

Through The Sharing Center efforts, patients receive over $40,000 worth of assistance every month. Last year, more than 5,300 kids & adults received vital medical aid through our help and connections.

Our HealthLink Services Include:

MedNet Navigator on Staff helps children & adults to get life-saving prescription medicines at low-cost or no cost.

Health Navigator on Staff helps children & adults to find a medical "home," a primary care physician or specialist. This lessens the burden on local hospital emergency rooms and clinics being used as primary care facilities by uninsured or under-insured people.

H.O.P.E. Mobile Medical Unit is hosted free of charge at our Longwood and our Sanford site, and brings a nurse practitioner twice a month to each location.

Therapy Skills: Disabled adults are helped to gain therapy and skills to be employed again or to find appropriate housing to accommodate their disabilities.

If You Need Medical Help:

- Our HealthLink office is open Monday-Friday except holidays; appointments are needed.
- For help with costs of prescription medicines, call 407.260.2317 or email: Cynthia.warrick@thesharingcenter.org
