Welcome to The Sharing Center

Since 1986, The Christian Sharing Center has helped children & families with urgent needs during financial crises caused by job loss and health issues.

The Sharing Center serves all of Seminole County, Florida with food pantries and other services shared through sites in Longwood and Sanford. We help a family back to self-reliance during personal emergencies by providing interim assistance with food, clothing, and essential costs of shelter, transportation, utilities, prescription medicines and other medical needs.

The number of families seeking help at The Sharing Center increased 40% last year, and our reception room is filled to overflowing every day. Our unpaid volunteers and paid staff are working overtime on a regular basis in order to extend a warm smile and friendly greeting to the ever-increasing numbers of people who need reassurance that they are not struggling alone during this difficult economy.

Behind the numbers are the faces of the real people who need help today. They are children, elderly, moms and dads, entire families. They are your neighbor, your child's classmate, the family in the row behind you at church.

You can help them today by partnering with The Sharing Center, helping us to fulfill our mission of "Sharing the reality of God’s love with those in need by providing material assistance and promoting Christian generosity."
